Ingredients
Directions
Prepare the Infusion: In a small mason jar, combine the Isolate (or your choice of cannabinoid) and Everclear. Seal the jar tightly and shake vigorously. If the isolate doesn't dissolve immediately, let it sit for a few minutes and shake again. You can also place the sealed jar in a bowl of warm (not boiling) water to help the isolate dissolve more easily.
Filling the Sprayer: Once the isolate has completely dissolved in the Everclear, pour the solution into a clean spray bottle.
Sugar Coating: In a large mixing bowl, add the granulated sugar. Carefully spray the mixture of isolate and Everclear evenly over the sugar, while stirring constantly, ensuring the sugar is uniformly coated.
Drying Process: Spread the sugar mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, allowing it to dry for 4-8 hours.
Storing: Once dry, break apart any clumps and transfer the Cannasugar to an airtight container. Label and store it in a cool, dry place.
Recipe Note
Drying Tips: Speed up the drying process by placing the sugar in a warm, dry area with good airflow. A fan can be beneficial, but ensure it doesn't blow the sugar away!
Storage: Always store your Cannasugar in an airtight container to preserve its potency and prevent it from clumping.
Usage Ideas: Stir into your morning coffee or tea, sprinkle over oatmeal, or use as a replacement for regular sugar in baking recipes.
This recipe will yield an infused sugar with the following approximations: if you choose to infuse with CBD/CBG isolate, your sugar will contain a total of 1000 mg per cup or 63mg per tablespoon. If you opt for THC extract, the sugar will have approximately 425 mg per cup or 27mg per tablespoon.
